GMS German Medical Science: Best Paper Award 2013

Editorial
For promotion of the scientific medical publications in the interdisciplinary e-journal GMS German Medical Science, the Editorial Board established a special prize for the best paper published in a certain time period. The article is selected by the Scientific Committee.
The first award was given to the authors for the best paper among the articles published during the time period 2002 to 2012 (see http://www.egms.de/en/news/news_0220.htm).
Since 2013 the prize for the best paper is awarded annually. The winners for the year 2013 are C. Thielscher, S. Thielscher, K. Kostev for their article: “The risk of developing depression when suffering from neurogical diseases” [1]. The prize awarding ceremony took place on December 10th, 2014 in Düsseldorf (Figure 1 [Fig. 1]). More information can be found in [2] (in German language).
